The brief
One of the most pressing traffic safety issues is vehicle maintenance (TA). The effectiveness of the TA system largely depends not only on the network of inspection stations but also on the digitization of inspections. Therefore, the Association of Technical Inspection Companies, TRANSEKSTA, approached us to design user-oriented digital services.
The company developed an integrated technical inspection service portal at www.vta.lt, where users can learn about TA services and register for them. A unified Technical Inspection Information System (TAIS) has been implemented in TA companies, consolidating all technical inspection information from across Lithuania into a central database. To maximize convenience for both users and service providers, we implemented UI and UX design and programming services, integrating them with the TAIS system.
Integrated Technical Inspection Station Search
**Integrated Technical Inspection Station Search with Automatic Allocation Based on Vehicle Type, Service Needs, and User Location.** Each station’s information is automatically updated according to changes in the overall inspection system.
E-Service Subsystem
The Technical Inspection Information System (TAIS), which consolidates all technical inspection information from across Lithuania into a central database, has been made accessible to users through the E-Service Subsystem.
Self-service Terminals
To facilitate service orders at inspection stations, self-service terminals have been implemented. These terminals are integrated with the e-service system.
Websites for Regional Technical Inspection Companies
Dedicated websites have been developed with information architecture, user interface, and design tailored to the companies’ profiles and specifics. The websites also integrate data exchange and e-services.
